“Society Biliki” Programs

Biliki runs programs in the following four areas:

Child Care Program

Society Biliki creates a family environment for children under state care who do not have the opportunity to live in alternative care (return to /live in biological family, fostering, adoption). We also create alternative services for those children without care, whose families are unable to take care and supervise the child during the day.

PROGRAM GOALS:
  • Strengthening the sustainability and resilience of the program
  • Satisfy the needs of the beneficiaries, by improving the quality of services/ offering new types of services.
Child and Youth Development Centre – Gori and Khashuri
Services:
  • 0-7 Early Intervention for children with developmental delays.
  • Rehabilitation-Habilitation of children and adults under 0-18 years.
Day Centres
Aim: Educational, psychological, social and basic support for children at risk of abandonment aged 6-18. 60 children receive services in two-day centres.
Small Family Houses
Aim: Homes for children under state care, that aim is to support the development of alternative forms of child care. 30 beneficiaries receive services in three small family houses (Gori, Khashuri).
Mother and Their Children’s Shelter
Aim: A shelter for women and their children who have escaped domestic violence, providing physical, psychological and skills development support. 10 beneficiaries receive services in the shelter.
Service Delivery for Psychological Support
Aim: Psycho-emotional care for children (6-18), parents and adults to improve psychological state, adapt to society, promote personal growth, regulate emotions and provide ongoing care.
Community Development Program

We enhance local community opportunities for the welfare of community members; We support young people to become more actively involved in the development of the local ecosystem, to acquire knowledge and develop skills in accordance with the requirements of the labor market; We empower civil society to be independent, sustainable, transparent and accountable.

PROGRAM GOALS:
  • Improving local employment policies for vulnerable groups (including people with disabilities)
  • Offering services connected to the needs of the community

Civic Education Program

We raise civic awareness among youth and adults and help them to be active citizens by providing civic education to teachers and students, through Civic Clubs.

PROGRAM GOALS:
  • Strengthening the impact/results of the civic education program
  • Promoting the subject of civic education
Volunteer Program

We support the development of the culture of volunteering among Georgian and foreign youth. By offering internship and training practice programs, we care about the professional development of youth and the development of practical skills necessary for work.

PROGRAM GOALS:
  • Strengthening volunteer program capacity through mutually beneficial relationships, long-term collaboration, and successful partnerships
  • Promotion of volunteering culture and active involvement of volunteers in community development
Branch I : Volunteering
18+ local community representatives International – Peace Corps, Solidarity Corp
Branch II : Internship (paid / unpaid)
Goal: Care for professional development and gain the practical skills.
Branch III : Learning Practice
Goal: Young people have the opportunity to make a learning practice at Society Biliki.
