On the initiative of EASPD and THE NET, the International Conference titled “Opening Doors: How Can Disability Support Services Unlock the Open Labour Market?” will be held in Athens, Greece on 17-18 October 2024. The conference will focus on sharing practical methodologies, tools, and legislation aimed at creating more opportunities for persons with disabilities in the open labour market.
In addition to the main conference, EASPD members will have the opportunity to attend Member Forum meetings (16-18 October) and the General Assembly (19 October).
We are pleased to announce that Marika Mgebrishvili, Head of the Association of Society Biliki, will represent the organization at this important event. Since joining EASPD in 2019, Society Biliki has been actively participating in international conferences and meetings focused on the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
The organization’s continued involvement in initiatives like this highlights its commitment to promoting inclusive employment opportunities and supporting the rights of people with disabilities both in Georgia and internationally.
